Nuevo ataque a un atunero español en aguas del Índico

Un atunero vasco ha conseguido escapar de un ataque en aguas del Índico de tres embarcaciones piratas gracias a la vigilancia de seguridad privada con la que cuenta el buque, con bandera de Seychelles. Mientras, los piratas del "Alakrana" se relevan desde tierra. (Volver)

¿Quién va protestar si unos mercenarios mandan a pique una embarcación de piratas? No es las solución más ajustada al derecho, pero es la mejor. Evitando el abordaje se evita el secuestro. Y las armas que llevan los piratas no tienen un alcance eficaz de más de doscientos metros. Bastan unas "simples" ametralladoras bien colocadas en cubierta, por no decir una 12`70, y unos buenos prismáticos para abortar el ataque a 400m. incluso más. No tendrían ninguna oportunidad. Y por la noche, con linternas (reflectores). Se veía venir.

Si llegan a ir bajo pabellón español, ya estarían en poder de los piratas. El Gobierno está haciendo dejación de funciones y, además, dando alas a quienes no quieren seguir siendo españoles. El hecho de que se defiendan mejor sus intereses bajo pabellón no español es un argumento que los nacionalistas usarán sin dudarlo. Y además, en este caso es cierto.
